Movie audiences, watch your back, 'cause the "Mean Girls" are comin' to get you. "Mean Girls" shows an excellent comedic depiction of high school life as well as all of the featured cliques (i.e., The Plastics, The Greatest People You'll Ever Meet) and how teenagers act in their own "jungle", as what the formerly home-schooled Cady Heron describes in her narration. As what the story goes, Cady joins the rich girl subculture known as The Plastics, who represent school royalty and write stupid rumors about other girls in their "Burn Book". Meanwhile, while she attempts to bring The Plastics down, Cady acts, dresses, and talks like a Plastic and mistakenly falls for Plastic leader Regina George's ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels. What a great high school story, and I never got tired of it! :-)
Adapted from the Rosalind Wiseman book "Queen Bees & Wannabees" and directed by Mark Waters (of "Freaky Friday"), "Mean Girls" features good acting performances from the following cast:

No longer the cute, freckle-faced girl from "The Parent Trap", Lindsay Lohan gets the memorable credit not just being Cady the formerly home-schooled freak from Africa but a grown-up actress with the pretty sexy looks. When I noticed Lindsay breaking out into full stardom in 2004 I knew that she was transitioning to more mature roles but never knew how partying and the paparazzi would threaten her image in later years. Anyways, let's forget the celebrity gossip.
Aside from The Plastics' use of slang language like "fugly", "word vomit", and "fetch", "Mean Girls" has many memorable quotes that will keep me awake all night, including:
1.) "Don't have sex, because you will get pregnant and die." (Coach Carr)
2.) "There are two kinds of evil people in the world. Those who do evil things and those who see evil things and don't try to stop it." (Janis Ian)
3.) "Would you like us to assign someone to butter your muffin?" (Jason)
4.) "So if you're from Africa, why are you white?" (Karen Smith)
5.) "Oh my god, Danny DeVito. I love your work!" (Damian)
6.) "Boo. You whore." (Regina George)
7.) "Hell no, I did not leave the South Side for this!" (Mr. Duvall)
8.) "You've got to stop calling each other sluts and whores. It just makes it right for guys to call you that." (Ms. Norbury)
9.) "I'm sorry that people are so jealous of me, but I can't help it that I'm popular." (Gretchen Weiners)
10.) "All you can do in life is try to solve the problem right in front of you." (Cady Heron)
In short, I guess "Mean Girls" is the best romantic chick/teen/Lindsay Lohan flick that I've ever watched in my movie viewing life for the best portrayal of subcultures who dominate high school and its immediate effects. -

Lindsay Lohan shows that is actually very talented, and out of it we get this teen joke-fest with a lot of brains behind it. A perfectly enjoyable way to kill an afternoon.

The title of this one really put me off because for some reason I thought it was going to glorify teens acting badly, but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't like that at all. I'm glad I saw it. It wasn't as harsh as I thought it would be, but rather a lot lighter. If you like L.L. you'll like this. It's a good teen entertainer - reminds me of She's All That in some ways.

I sorda kinda hate this movie. It is so weird I mean ragena gets hits by a bus and that sorda stuff. It is just an ok movie. But it is hilarious when they don't do stupid stuff.

So/So funny...Rachel McAdams is always a treat to watch, too many 2nd rate SNL actors thrown in... Now, to watch this movie... don't rent it & don't risk stealing it...lol, borrow it from a friend or wait til a T.V. release. lol ;) Enjoy.
