Based on it's impact on American comedy, this'd be a five star movie. Watching it last night and rating it solely on it's entertainment value today; it's a little above average.

John Landis and a cast of excellent actors, including the late John Belushi (Saturday Night Live), make fun of fraternities in the ultimate comedy of 1987 and maybe the best frat movie ever. Animal House is just nuts, a complete blowout of sense and taste, and a parody of all things estasblishment. (Teacher's boards, politics, food fights, adultery with older women, war movies, parades, and even underage relations are shockingly riffed). This is just a greatm ovie, but not for everyone. Some stuffier gents will find it tasteless and not funny, but they're just stodgy. Having spent over a decade in college, this movie was ust awesome! Not real life, but who goes to see real life in their comedy? Ha. "I'm a zit! Get it?" Ha. Crude humor is always cool.

A legendary gem in the comedy world, full of great scenes and memorable dialogue. Belushi is in top form, whether wrecking guitars, breaking bottles on his forehead, or sneaking around campus as a ninja with white socks on. A timeless college movie, "Animal House" will still be just as funny years from now.

A classic! I love this movie! About the worst fraternity on campus and the crazy antics of that fraternity. If your a teenager or about to go to college, you need to see this movie; for ideas. I highly recommend this movie.

National Lampoon's is one of my favorite comedy series of films to be released. Animal House is obviously one of the better NL film's due to Belushi's brilliant performance in this film.

I love comedies and this was definitely one of my favorites. The entire cast manages to be charming while be entirely hilarious. John Belushi was an absolutely amazing comedic actor and it shows in this film. Although I can't really argue that this is a smart movie, it remains a classic of the comedic genre.

É preciso ver que este filme tem 30 anos e que na altura não havia nada daqueles filmes que hoje há ao pontapé dos teenagers na universidade. Este é provavelmente o pai desse tipo de comédias e o que hoje nos parece cliché nesses filmes, na altura foi bastante original. GRANDE John Belushi (vénia)

the original college comedy and inarguably the best. dated though it might be for the current generation of moviegoers, this is still a hilarious classic that every high school and college student must watch. John Belushi in top genius form.

A cult classic indeed. A great cast with great scenes. This is probably one of the best college movies around and no others can touch it.
