I was forced to watch this with my Grandmother since she wouldnt let me see friken Dark Knight and well its not even CLOSE to the other ones. Theres no one thats the original except Brendan obviously. but still it wasnt worth watching in the theatre. -

I think this movie could not have had worst timing. Why? Well, it's a pretty good movie, but between batman, ironman and wanted it kind of pales in comparison. Good action scenes, great CGI. `didn't like the new Evie, she was too posh compared to the last movies. The love story between alex and the chinese girl was awful, all o the sudden they were in love, when did that happen, I think they moved that story a little too fast

I liked this movie alot. It did a good job of staying true to the characters. All except Evie. Surely if she were to write a book about the Mummy exploits, it would have been non-fiction and worthy of the scolars she is always trying to impress.

Even though one of my favorite characters had a different actor playing the role, I fully enjoyed the movie. The story was very interesting and was played very well by all in it. If you liked the other 2 Mummy movies go see this one as well.

This could have been so much better.I didn't like the new Evie.They should have killed her char off if they couldn't get the original actress back. And what was up with Brendan Frasiers son looking about 5 years younger than *dad* I had a hard time buying that.

The third installment to Universals successful franchise The Mummy was an overall dissapointment, considering how much i enjoyed the first two films. It seems like it has all run a little thin, with the plots becoming more predictable and funny. The acting was some of the worst in recent memory, with dredful dialogue that almost begged you to take it seriously. Jet Li added some star power to the film in his role as the Dragon Emperor but it felt like his tremendous abilities were wasted. Maria Bello tried but just coulnt fill the shoes of Racheal Weiz, and Brendan Frasers performance was just plain bad. Aside from the amazing graphics and sceneary i dont have too much positives to say about what should have been a very successful action adventure film. John Hannahs refreshing comic relief was all that salvaged this movie for me.

The Mummy 3 couldn't even be called an 'okay' movie by anyone foolish enough to pay money to see this in the theater. Rachel Weisz was very smart to turn this one down.

its not the best of the other sequel,but its worth to watch knowing that theres Jet Lee,Michelle Yeoh and also Russel Wong in it,but i kind of dissapointed with the new lady(Maria Bello) who takes Rachel Weiz's part,she looks akward to me..its tottaly not cool,in the other hand..Brendan Frazer still looks cool and funny...I like the second one of all the sequel..

This film picked up a new director and it shows. I liked it better when it was a Sommers creature feature, but now it's just another Cohen action movie. It's not a terrible movie, the special effects don't really stand out, and the acting is good. Bello did a good job with the accent and din't bug me a whole lot that it was a differant acttress, but the characters seem to have changed almost too much. Fraiser trys to be an overprotective Father, but it doesn't work when his son is like 5 years younger then him. Li does a great job though we needed to see more fighting from him, less Dragon and whatever the other thing was. The story is okay yet predictable, but we didn't need an overly complicating back story about how the mummy came to be. It manages to be an okay, funny, action film that's worth seeing, but it's just not a satisfying Mummy movie. Still worth watching.

I wanted to shoot the woman who tried to do the british accent, she couldn't act and she bought the entire movie down. It wouldn't have been so bad if they bought Rachel back, she was great. Didn't care to much for the boy that played Alex either, didn't do anything for me, couldn't even run right. Brendan tried, and the great british guy who plays the brother, was the best in the movie, keeps his character contained as always.
I wouldn't recommend this, especially if you liked the first two, just lets you down, too sloppy, forgetting the fact that when you have big money you don't just spend it on the props and setting. -

MCT:August 18, 2008personally, i'm not much of a mummy movie fanatic but for those of you who are this will be a good one for you. it has great adventure scenes and a pretty cool story behind it. jet li was alright here. i kind of expected more fighting from him but whatever. anyway, i would recommend it for the hard core mummy fans. you'll get your money's worth

Everything about China is amazing in this film, Brendan Fraser, Maria Bello and their 'son' awful. Appalling dialogue hungry for a laugh. Didn't realise how important Rachel Weisz is to this movie until I saw this film. An expected disappointment.

I just saw this movie and I loved it! I really did miss Rachel Weisz (sorry if I spelled that wrong) as Evie, and I missed all the things about Egypt, but overall it was great! Brendan Fraser is amazing and it was a funny, action packed movie
