A group of U.S. marines, under command of a renegade general, take over Alcatraz and threat San Francisco Bay with biological weapons. A chemical weapons specialist and the only man to have ever escaped from the Rock are the only ones who can prevent chaos.

This is a damn good film. Unbreakable cast and directed by the man, Michael Bay!
This is SOSO amazing this movie, it truly is. Any film with Jerry Bruckhiemer and Michael Bay is going to be a smash and this is exactly what The Rock turns out to be.
What a combination, Sean Connery, Nic Cage & Ed Harris. This film will make you laugh despite its seriousness.
The music really sets the whole film on fire as does the classy slick camera work. The plot is crazy but it goes. Action top-notch. Sean Connery had me in stitches and Nic Cage also with his tongue in cheek one liners galore!
The Rock is one of those films you never get tired off no matter how many times you watch it. -

Slam-bang entertainment. Truly spectacular. Non-stop excitment. A pure kinetic adreniline rush from start to finish. An endlessly enjoyable action-packed thriller. Awsome gun battles and an exhilerating car chase sequence. Unstoppable and unforgettable. A rollar-coaster ride that dosent stop for an instant, it keeps going and going. Action movies dont get any better than this. Sean Connery and Nicholas Cage are teriffic. Ed Harris is brilliant.

This movie is so excellent, it's a completed movie!! I mean there is a success guns attack intrusion, a failed one, cars pursuit, many fights and shooting scenes. The soundtrack is amasing and the story is so nice. Even the hairdresser is really funny. Everything is just perfect, I'll never be bored to listen this movie.
