Divorced father Scott Calvin with very little Christmas spirit has a very strenuous relationship with his son. Things begin to take a twist when Calvin dons Santa?s coat when the really Santa Claus falls from his roof. As days go by to the next Christmas, Calvin starts to begin to look like and act like Santa. Soon his ex-wife, her new husband and all his work colleagues thinks he has gone off his rocker. The Santa Clause is a feel good family movie that takes the legend of Santa Claus to a new level. The Santa Clause is great, funny movie for all ages. Disney really hit a home run with this one as the movie. The gags and funny bits this movie presented was something Bruce Almighty should have cloned them after. The Santa Clause is well written for a family comedy and acted nicely. The Santa Clause easily gets three Santa laughs out of five for a great movie the whole family will love.
This movie is at a childish level but even very funny! Sometimes itīs too magical for me but I really enjoyed this movie. Specially now in christmas times itīs a success! Itīs nice, charmy and it made me laugh several times and thatīs why I watch movies!
A bit funny, but the hole movie is about beliving in santa. And tho who not do that haven't get the gift they moste wanted. So in a bit the movie feels geting the right gift for christmas.
Classic Tim Allen. This movie is so fun and so hilarious. It makes you feel good. It's a great movie to watch every Christmas and laugh with your family.
This is the story of Scott Calvin, one night Santa Clause falls off Scott's roof, and as a result, Scott becomes the next Santa.
a funny story starring Tim Allen.
11-22-08 --Tim Allen IS Santa Clause or so we are to believe. Classic holiday film that you have to watch every year. If not every year at least once out of 3 years. It gives great thought into the idea of what Santa Clause would be and should be. Also, it helps answer those tough questions like "how does Santa get down a chimney when there is no chimney?" yes... study it, learn it, you will be quizzed by your child.
Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) is a divorced father with his son, Charlie (Eric Lloyd) to their final stop is the North Pole. The head elf, Bernard (David Krumholtz), shows him an inscription on the card whoever wears the suit assumes the identity of Santa Claus. Laura is finally realize Scott is a new Santa Claus. Bernard (David Krumholtz) presents Charlie with a magical snowglobe so, Charlie can summon Santa any time Charlie needs his dad in Santa Clause suit.
This is a great movie and different from the rest of those based on Santa Clause. Exceptionally funny throughout. Good for all the family, except for those who believe that Santa is real. Don't shatter their illusion.
One of my favorite Tim Allen movies of all time! Tim Allen makes a fantastic Santa Clause in this holiday classic that your family will want to watch year after year.
Fantastic film. I watch this every Christmas and I still laugh hard at the bits that I found funny when I first saw it about 12 years ago. Brilliant family film.
