    "I see dead people"

In this tense tale of psychological terror, Dr. Malcolm Crowe (Bruce Willis) is a child psychologist whose new patient has a problem far outside his usual area of expertise. Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment) is six-years-old and claims to see the spirits of dead people all around him. It seems that Cole has psychic powers and can channel the ghosts of those who were troubled. Cole doesn't understand his powers, and he has little control over them; he's constantly terrified by what he sees, and Dr. Crowe is the only one with whom he feels he can share this secret. However, as the doctor digs deeper into Cole's strange powers, it leads to strange and unexpected consequences for both of them. M. Night Shyamalan, who wrote and directed the film, has a small role as Dr. Hill.

The Sixth Sense is among the most well-crafted stories of our time. I loved the director's style and approach not only with the camera, but with the way the camera helps tell the story.

Of course, the best part of Sixth Sense is the ending, which I hope stays a secret forever. Public revealing of the ending would be worse than genocide, in my opinion. The movie is great the second time around, especially when you're with newcomers, because it's SO obvious to you and you can't believe they don't get it. What an amazing feeling it is when you finally get the ending, it's indescribable.

I personally HATE horror films. I don't get it why would anyone waste their pity cash for something that scare their sorry sh*t out of them?? But this one hit me so hard with its awesomeness. The one and only horror movie I've ever loved!

Vincent Grey breaks into his house of child psychologist Malcolm Crowe, claiming that Crowe misdiagnosed him as a patient several years ago, and shoots Crowe before committing suicide. Recovering, Crowe is assigned to Cole Sear, a young child who suffers from many the same symptoms as Grey. As he starts to communicate with Cole, Crowe learns that Cole is not suffering from child abuse and mental illness at all, but rather that he is able to see and communicate with the dead. The Sixth Sense's quietude enfolds you, director M. Night Shyamalan produces some real jolts. The first one with Haley Joel Osment getting up in the night to pee and the loud thump on the soundtrack as someone passes in front of the camera really makes the entire audience jump right out of their seats. M. Night Shyamalan keeps the audience on a seat edge throughout with a number of other genuinely spooky shocks; the appearances of the vomiting girl inside the tent; the boy who says "Come and let me show you where my father puts his gun" before turning and revealing the back of his head blown off. The Sixth Sense is made all the more effective by the fragile, frightened performance of Haley Joel Osment. This is a performance that lacks any of the sentimental cuteness that children are usually portrayed with in almost every Hollywood film and rather is one that shows the real terrors of childhood. The Sixth Sense was an enormous sleeper hit and one of the most successful of its year.

I don't know why the ending was so unexpected for everyone, but this movie is awesome anyway.

This thriller is distinguished by the moving performance of Haley Joel Osment. It's a quiet, slow movie that builds its scares gradually, leading to a wallop of a surprise ending.

Ok tell me the truth, did anyone figure out that the Bruce Willis's character was dead the whole time? man I was blown away by that fact. I honestly didn't see it coming. I watched it over again and then I was like "Duh, the clues were there the whole time!!" Good movie, very suspensful.
