    I saw this version *after* I saw the 1997 movie with Leo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. This one was ok but not quite as good.

    Overrated film which soley concentrates on a fictional romance and diamond necklace. The CGI may have given it scope but ulimately it had feet of clay. 'A Night to Remember' (1958) is vastly superior and therefore moving, due to it's use of real people's stories aboard the vessel.

    Jamie Pierce (Mike Doyle) steals a ticket to get on board on Titanic falls in love with Aase Ludvigsen (Sonsee Neu) & they spend time on board together. Aase is raped by Simon Doonan (Tim Curry) doesn't trust anybody anymore when Titanic hits by iceberg.
