Really fun and all of this is awesome as hell! Laughed the whole way through! A funny plot, takes ages to get going, good family Blockbuster film all round.
The cube storyline was a nice idea,original, like pandoras box. Good chases and set pieces, effect laden. As good as the bourne ultimatium (equal to it though and hugely entertaining).
Would watch again for sure. Looked forward to this, what i got was one of the best films I've seen in ages. Hyped up. More Josh Duhamel. Megan Fox made this film smoking hot. Lil boy Shia LaBeouf was likeable and awesome.
Immense soundtrack that really gives a bit of edge to the film, Bumblebee's radio i found funny. Original ideas are getting better!, what other old series/cartoon they going to remake into a big blockbuster movie? -

Amazing special effects and jam packed with action. I loved how they also stuck in a lot of comedy. Holy crap, Transformers can create A LOT of damage!! LOL.

MCT:August 7, 2007Michael Bay may not be much of a story teller, but he does know how to get the heart pumping and adrenaline flowing through entertainment chocked cinema, and his latest offering - Transformers - is no different. Through the seamless integration of humour and action, Bay has transformed an unlikely pleasure into a bonafide hit. From typical film standards, Transformers fails abysmally, but for those without the expectations of a miracle, Transformers achieves everything it sets out to.
In many ways, this film could be considered the mega-blockbuster of a very Hollywood dominated year of cinema. Transformers encompasses action, explosions, jokes, hot bodies, and about as much depth as a wading pool. However, to put anything but this into the film would have only served as a hindrance. There is a seriously lacking story, made no easier by a ridiculous premise to begin with, and on these merits the film's nonsensical nature turns into an affair that will leave moments of bewilderment and critical dismissiveness. But once more the bases of entertainment hit further than analysis can delve as the story rusts are given constant oil changes through the form of action, laughs, and more action.
In a sequel dominated year of flashy effects and amped up visuals catered through enormous budgets, Transformers is a film that will likely take the prize of being the most visually inspiring film of the crop. Aesthetically, the film is near groundbreaking through sumptuous effects that will prove to leave the competition trailing behind. And the filmmakers are aware of this exterior splendour as they fill the massive 140 minute run-time with as many explosions and metal crunching robot fights as they can.
Though the film can become quite tiring at points through elongated scenes that often overstay their welcome, Transformers remains testament to the notion of cinema catering for the smile; but of course, the makers will be expecting plenty of dollars back as well. -

Good but not great mainly because the robots didn't get enough face time. Then again the romantic subplot didn't ruin the movie like I expected.

This could have been a better movie, but for some reason, Hollywood thinks that they have to 'dumb down' their movies for the kids; this pisses me off, it insults my intelligence. They need to bring the kids up to adult levels and thus making them smarter and making a better human being.
The effects were great, but the stupid little robot just pissed me off. Aren't they supposed to be a higher intelligence?
