    Ok,

I am finally aboard the Twilight bus.I DID enjoy this movie please let that be known right from the start. In fairness though please realize that I am basing this review off of the MOVIE itself, which is why I am on this site to begin with.So for those hardcore Twilighters that are bout to start hating on me just keep that in mind.I did like it.Good movie, good love story,a few things I didn't understand but that's okay.I did expect sooo much more though from the way this movie was so hyped up,Where the heck is all the vampire action????This is basically a teen love story other than the fact that you know Edward and the Cullens' are an adopted family of vampires and that they show 'symptoms' of that you wouldn't know this is a vampire movie at all.I guess I was also expecting some fairly high dollar special effects.Again I did not hate this movie I just expected so much more in many ways.

The thrill begins when a new vampire finds it a challenge to hunt Bella down for her irresistible blood. The game is on and James will not stop until she is killed.

    MY APPRAISAL

I reward Twilight as #1 most overrated novel in the history. Aren't you people stupid enough for worshipping Edward Cullen?? Edward Cullen is a fugly character, described so beautifully. F*ck, even Eddie Murphy looks handsome if everybody described him so. Robert Pattinson is too good looking for the fugly Edward Cullen.
WAKE UP PEOPLE!! Edward Cullen isn't real! F*ck Stephenie Meyer. She said TWILIGHT will topped Harry Potter. Who she think she is? Stephenie Meyer > J.K. Rowling!? Dream on!
The novel is so boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooring. It's so pathetic. F*ck Edward Cullen, f*ck Stephenie Meyer, and f*ck TWILIGHT!! I hope this movie sinks without trace!!

    Die you Edward Cullen, DIEEEE!!

    LOVE AT FIRST BITE
After all four of the books being published by Stephine Meyer, people may still wonder why teenage girls go nuts for this! We'll after seeing this, you'll see why teenage girls go nuts for this. Its a mix with everything. You've got comedy, action, horror, drama, romance. You've got the whole package!

After reading the first book, i had to see this. I enjoyed the book very much and i needed to see this film. After watching it, i am very happy that the movie kept up with the book. It included all the main details from the book and all the importent parts.

The movie revolves around Bella. She's in every scene. Bella moves to Forks to spend some time with her Dad when her mom goes to Jacksonville for her boyfriends baseball carrer, in Forks Bella makes tons of new friends. She also meets Edward Cullen. Edward Cullen is strange and beautiful to Bella and she learns a dark secret about his family, there a pack of veggie vampires who only hunt amimal blood. Bella makes a daring relationship with Cullen and they learn they can not be apart from one another, until a human sucking tracker vamp named James takes on a challenge to suck Bella's blood. Edward must keep Bella safe for putting her in danger before she dies from the most dangerous creature ever known.

Its an awesome plot if yea think about it. It really is. The book had some more detail but the movie was right on the bat. It was made perfect. Catherine Hardwick made the movie like it should have been. I couldnt imagine Forks or the characters any other way than they were from the book. She made the movie perfect which is why i loved this movie.

Another thing i liked is how Bella narrated trough the movie. She narrated some narrated quotes from the book. Like "The Three Things I Was Absoutly Positive" quote. Thats a huge quote from the book and i love how Bella narrated it in the movie.

All and All, Twilight is a very enjoyable movie. If yea havent seen it, i recommend you do because i didnt think it was a huge letdown from the book.

It wasn't as bad as people said it was but it also was not as awesome as people said it was. I was kinda inbetween. I though they did a good casting job but Edward was not that great and Bella was rather flat compared to the books.

Twilight fans from all around the world will hate me for this review. Twilight is very far from being a good movie why, for the reason that it is focused mainly for the female viewer. The movie is about a teenager that leaves Phoenix to to leave with his dad in a little town in Washington and falls in love with fancy and stylish vampire risking her life for this relation in my opinion is kinda corny. If you take the vampire theme out, it is just another love movie and a chick flick. The only good part from the movie is the baseball game scene its maybe the only enjoyable part. The movie is so slow that it may turn tiresome to the viewer. The special effects are lame. The cast formed mainly by new, young actors delivers barely decent performances some of them are even ridiculous. But not everything in the movie is bad, the landscapes from the locations are beautiful and the music is pretty cool. In conclusion, the movie is worthy on for those who are real fans, they will enjoy every part of it. If you're not one of them you might think it twice before seeing it.

What else woudl I want to see LOL

A little disappointed but SPOIKER if you didn't hear already. Rob Pattison's song he wrote sounds pretty nice.
However parts comeoff stale & there's some things that just don't seem right to me from the movie. Not sure if the acting was all that great either.

I loved it, and I thought that they stuck to the over all story pretty well, even if some of the actos and special affects sucked. No matter who directed it, acted in it, or did the special affects for the movie, the book will ALWAYS be better, and that's okay. But for a movie, it was pretty dang good! Definitely worth the 5 hours of waiting in a freezing cold line! :)

Twilight, at last i watch this hype movie!

To begin with i never read the novel, not intending too. and second, thank god i read some of the review first so i am fully aware that this is a LOVE STORY movie.

It was an average movie, nothing less nothing more. Twilight movie starts out good, and go predictable and cheesy! My main concern is obviously the script, what's so damn good about it?
I think Stephanie Mayer is one dumb writer (i'll go back to that in a while). the plot was so average, you dont cheer for the character nor you really care if Bella is gonna be killed by bunch of vampire, and add the love story about mortal and immortal love story, kill me!

The direction was good, some scenes seems so long and being drag, but overall Catherine Hardwicke did good. Special effect was very bad, though i love the location spot, gorgeous view!

Acting, hmm.. First to start, i do like Kristen Stewart in her previous movies, but in this one.. let's say she was bad, wooden.
I think she got the part just because she have that 'look', a trash look which give me nausea!
Robert Patinson, first i despise him all along, why? have you seen him in red carpet pics?
he looks and act like loony, but thank god he can act, in fact the reason i can stayed glued to my sit was cos of his acting. nice job! others; hmm.. i was quite excited to see Nikki Reed, she did ok but blond hair clearly did not suit her!

Let me come to the part where i criticize the writer! i repeat, i dont want to read the novel, so leave it like that. but reading her next installment synopsis, i can say she doesn't know how to write! her stories are weak, mediocre at best and very very cheesy! and she named this an Adult romance? damn, i better tune in to some GG or One Tree Hill if i want Teens romance tale! and i cant believe they are planning to continue to adapt her book, thank goodness there is some other writer like, hmm who? oh yeah, J.K Rowling ! she is a brilliant writer, who can manage the audience to be engage into her creation, but not Mayer.

PS: If the rumor is true about, Kristen and Robert each getting 12 M bucks for the second movie, then i can assure you the world is so so doom!

    6/10. (Bias review)

Awesome job, koodos to the actors, directors, writers, and staff. Considering what an amazing book Twilight is they all did exceedingly well. Sadly for me it felt to short, but fortunetly them hit all of the necessary plot points to make it a good movie and stuck with the plot. I'd have liked a few more scenes from the book, but my only real problems with the movie were a, the sparkle looked fuzzy when it should have been crisper like the facets of a diamond, b, the hair was too messy a little more kept would have been better, c, the scene for blood testing should have been including.

Let me just started out by saying I didn?t read the book coz I?m not really a fan of twilight. I'm not much of a reader because I would rather see the movie
I watched this movie out of curiosity because of this Twilight phenomenon. Many people in our school or even people in malls, lrt, and fx, talked about this movie. So why don?t give a try?but many of my friends and classmates watched this movie on the day it premiers so I get oP to them?I cant understand what they were talking about..so I decided to watch it alone at guaranteed seats in trinoma mall? This movie is even better for people who haven't read or seen the series?it was exactly how I pictured it when my friends explained the book to me. It was a very easy to follow movie?..

I was impressed. At first when Edward fled the school for a few days because he was put off by her for some odd reason after seeing Bella I was thinking it was a little pathetic. As the story picked up and the characters were all introduced it got interesting and kept me glued to the screen. There were a few characters at the school who annoyed me but when the Cullens came on the scene it got good, especially the handsome Edward (Robert Pattinson). I think they did a good job. Carlisle (the father of Edward) radiated kindness and authority, Emmet was just fun, Alice was the perfect combination of vampire and pixie, and Jasper's intensity worked because he layered a kind of self-awareness under it that allowed it to be funny. I was thrilled with the casting of Rosalie because she is exactly what I consider spectacularly beautiful, though her kind of looks have gone out of fashion.
Kristen and Robert played the parts of Bella & Edward very well. They were convincing in their feelings for each other, especially Kristen. I really felt her subtle fear of him, strong attraction for him and how she was afraid to lose him. Even though I never read the book I get what it is basically about. It's about a girl falling in love with a hot guy who was mysterious & sparkly but who turns out to be a vampire! He hides who he really is but she figures it out. And while they are figuring out how to be together, the vampire was attracted to the scent of her blood, and having a real hard time restraining himself from killing her. And this is exactly what the movie portrays. I enjoyed all the other characters and stories like the feud between the 2 groups of vampires,
My favorite actor was the guy who played Bella's dad Charlie, because he was so natural in his strained interactions with Bella. But I will complain about the ghastly overly white make-up for the vampires being too obviously make-up (especially for Dr. Carlisle Cullen). Cam Gigandet made a very good James in my opinion. He got the whole "bad vampire and slightly animalistic" thing down great. The same for Rachelle Lefevre as Victoria. I love her the way she was shown watching Edward and Belle from above at the prom.

In the end, I loved the movie. I'm glad I watched it. Everything fit in. Everything had a reason. It was almost perfect in that respect. Definitely worth checking out!!

I'm a sucker (no pun intended lol) for a love story! You can tell this was totally made with all the die hard fans in mind...it follows the book almost to a T and they made sure to get in all the little stuff that we all love from the books. It did feel a little hurried and I'm not sure why they did that...they should know by now that for movies like this we are totally willing to sit in a theatre for 3 hours!

I was really dissapointed with the film. I love the book so much that I have heaps of expectation especially knowing the actors that they're EFFIN HOT and great actors made me hope for way better film, they were kinda dull, theirs no chemistry between the two of them, and the book is way so much BETTER than this. anyways; I'm not that bad. I just love the book, but I'll still give 5* for I recon the film is really beautiful if I hadn't read the book I would proBably Love it ..
But I really didn't get why did they cut off the stuff that's really awesome, the past of carlisle, alice and other parts of the book that lead to a way BETTER movie, and they should put more effects, this isn't a low budget film isn't?

OMG it was so good!!!! they took some bits out, added some bits and changed others, but man oh man, they did a great job creating the film. I thought the storyline was rushed, but thats only because i've read the book and know the storyline in detail, and you can't put the whole storyline in detail in a movie, otherwise it would just go on forever. And the acting was great too! Robert Pattinson mixed softness with danger so well, and then Kristen played Bella so well, and OMG it was so good!
