John Tunstall (Terrence Stamp) recruits Billy the kid (Emilio Estevez) with another well-connected rancher named Lawrence G. Murphy (Jack Palace) & their men @ Tunstall's Ranch.
Billy (Emilio Estevez), Doc (Kurt Sutherland), Chavez (Lou Diamond Phillips), Dick (Charlie Sheen), Dirty Steve (Dermot Mulroney), & Charlie (Casey Siemaszko) consult their lawyer friend Alex to manage to get them deputized and given warrants for the arrest of Murphy's murderous henchmen.

I love this movie more than all other movies in this world! But since I'm a lover of the REAL William Bonney, I must say they made two huge inaccuries. Billy the Kid was called a lefthander after the picture he took posing with his rifle, but in the movie they call him a lefthander before he takes the picture. And also the letter Billy wrote to the Governor in reality, was sent to Lewis Wallace, but in the movie it's sent to Axtell instead. There's a few more inaccuries, as I've seen, but the movie is awesome and nothing else matters! <333

I got this free with a magazine, and im glad i bought it, I always wanted a good ol fashioned western for my collection, and this, on top of great acting and casting and action sequences, it has a captivating story and some good headshots, haha. Was great.
