In terms of pure comedy, this might be the funniest movie that Kevin Smith has ever written.

Pretty funny movie.Maybe I am just getting numbed to Sex in mainstream movies today but I really didn't find this half as raunchy as I was expecting,I really was bracing for the worst lol.Anyway Kevin Smith doing a great job here,making his mark for sure.Seth Rogen still flyin through the same type low-self esteem yet I am kinda a good guy type roles.Anyways all in all pretty good,if you are a fan of any of these actors or had this on your want to see list then go for it.=)

MCT:December 3, 2008I can say this much. My FAVORITE FILM of 2008.. full stop. Kevin Smith was unfairly accused of poaching the Apatow crew for this flick.. but I look at it this way that crew was only working the way Smith paved.
BUT the real revelation here is Elizabeth Banks who gives a fantastically HILARIOUS performance as Miri. while also showing her adeptness at physical comedy AND a very serious and sweetly romantic side. This film.. just wow.. the casting was spot on.. from the word GO. I think this film was criminally overlooked in theaters and can only hope to see it get some justice on video, I know my theater did NOT carry the film.. which is a real shame. WARNING: This film truly does push the R- rating to its very very far out extreme in terms of male nudity, quite shocking for a Kevin Smith movie.. whom himself has said that he is uncomfortable shooting nudity after he did the film Mallrats. BUT whoa.. its on display here as "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and all its BRAVERY, as it was said, has NOTHING on this film. In terms of comedy.. or.. just all out punch to the gut. People who said Kevin Smith could never exist without Jay and Silent Bob should CHOKE on this.. not for sensitive viewers but everyone else sit back and enjoy.

I CANT FN WAIT TO SEE THIS ! especially since Seth is Zack and that nutcase from 40 year old virgin is Miri. I love how the cast are all friends its friken awes.
