Sir Michael Caine's one remaining ambition is to become a grandfather.
The 75-year-old actor, who recently reprised his role as Alfred Pennyworth in new Batman film 'The Dark Knight', is desperate for his daughter Natasha to have children.
He said: "One of my girls Nikki is 51 now, so that's ruled her out - and anyway, she's into horses, and horsey people are far happier cleaning the muck out of stables at some ungodly hour than they are looking after children.
"My other daughter, Natasha, is 34, so I suppose there is still time. I really want to be a grandfather. Odd isn't it, that's the only real ambition I have left."
The two-time Oscar winner says he is semi-retired now, so would have plenty of spare time to help look after a baby.
He added: "I've told my daughter, 'Have the kids with anyone, I don't care who. I'll be quite happy to look after them.'
