Brad Pitt has officially signed on to star as Aldo Raine in Quentin Tarantino’s World War II film Inglorious Bastards. The story follows a group of of Jewish-American soldiers, lead by Pitt’s character - a Tennessee hillbilly, whose mission is to take down a group of Nazis. Pitt will join Eli Roth as Sgt. Donnie Donowitz, and B.J. Novak, who is in talks to play PFC Utivich. The film will begin production on October 13th 2008 in Germany.
