Shia LaBeouf to Have a Finger Amputated By now, everyone knows that Shia LaBeouf has mangled his hand when his SUV rolled over twice in a car accident in West Hollywood. He was cited for DUI, but police believe that the accident was not his fault.

Star magazine is now reporting that LaBeouf injuries are much worse than just some broken bones. How much worse? Apparently the doctors have told Shia that they have to amputate one of his injured fingers.

As a result, LaBeouf was forced to call the producers of "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" to give them the bad news. A source on the New Mexico set said that the situation has thrown the movie into turmoil.

Previously, director Michael Bay has stated that LaBeouf's injuries would be worked into the script. I can't wait for June 26th, 2009 to see this unfold on screen.

    OMG That sux, hard core. But just think, the producers and writers could use this, and somehow put it into the new Transformers movie, after all this is Hollywood, anything can happen.:P

    That is really bad luck for him but the surgeons in the states can do wonders with plastic surgery so he may be ok and if not it is only a finger it could have been much worse for him

    I am praying that this is not true but if it is, its not the end of the world. Yeah, it sucks and my heart goes out to him but it could have been so much worse. We can all be thankful he will be ok and go on making movies. I really enjoy him and cant wait to see the new movie.

    But, why was he drunk?
    I hope he gets better, and he still plays that character he got!
    He's good at it and it wouldn't be the same without him.

    Sorry to hear about that, but I don't see why it would keep him from being able to be in the movie. (Not really a big Shia LeBeouf fan anyway, but still...there are others with more severe disabilities that are able to work.)
