Tony Romo Jessica Simpson Pregnancy Scare Infuriates Romo Family
If Jessica Simpson ever makes a second trip down the aisle with current beau Tony Romo, it’s safe to say the rest of the family won’t be welcoming the buxom blonde with open arms. La Familia Romo went loco when an excited Tony and Jess announced they were pregnant during a family meeting last month.
With her younger sister Ashlee now happily married and expecting her first child with husband Pete Wentz, Jessica, 28, is more determined than ever to drop some crotchfruit with the Dallas Cowboys QB, National Enquirer insiders say.
“Her friends know she’s feverishly trying to conceive.”
The “Come On Over” singer was certain her dream of becoming a mother had come true when she received a false positive on a home pregnancy test.
“There was a huge fight on July 18 at the Romo home. Jessica and Tony thought she was pregnant and announced it to the family,” says a spy. “The news resulted in dead silence.”
And it all went to Hell from there.
“Tony’s dad Ramiro said, ‘You’re not even married. This is crazy! Tony’s mom Joan joined in, demanding, ‘How can you do this to us?’”
“Tony’s dad and a lot of his relatives are very traditional, and they don’t like pregnancy out of wedlock,” the tabloid mole explains. (Maybe The Romos don’t want to take the chance that a grandchild of theirs will inherit Jessica’s “stupid” gene.)
